Here are some photos from a trip to South Africa back in June of 2002. Good times with friends from Cape Town and Australia. We had the sweetest pad at J-Bay overlooking Supers and with the currency exchange at the time it was around $15 a night. The waves ... wow!

Hey, this is Grinder from Taiwan. Here is one pic of me surfing in BAWA INDONESIA. This was a very fun day. 6 foot backs, lots o power.
Its amazing how warm Taiwan waters are... all you need is your trunks. I am working on some good pics of taiwan. The current photo's turned out to look pretty average. I am staying here so I will be in the season and try to get something better. I have a couple shots but not worth it.
I LOVE THE article about the truck getting waxed, it made me laugh and laugh its just sooo funny. Man one thing I have to say about that. You go in the water to surf and then leave. Surf then leave. Stick around and wax people's car, you need to find something else to do, like read a book, listen to some music or find a girlfriend. HAHA. see ya.

Andrew Paine and I recently returned to Canada from a four month surf trip in Japan. We brought back a plethora of surf photage and the following video is a small taste. Some trip shots from mex. Me kook'n out on a smaller set, a town called Bara de Navidad, a fishing boat and a young native grom styl'n it out on a 4 incher in the native village, "La Ticla".

I'm an English teacher in Kochi Prefecture in Japan. This photo was taken at a reef break called Ozaki back in December 2002. Southern Japan normally only gets swell like this in the summer so it was a pleasant surprise.

The orca shots are grabs from video I got real lucky with. Right place, right time. The whale cruised the lineup right after this wave. Nobody moved. Nobody got hurt.

These shots are of Pipe during the 3rd week of November during the Triple Crown. I got up early to beat the crowds but all the pros and photogs were swarming the beach by 9:00AM. Don't let the press fool you, there are lots of waves to be had on the North Shore. Aloha
