Urban Myth
Postmans Holiday
Where a guy who walks everyday for a living goes on a walking holiday. This week we feature just such a story. Water-photographer extraordinary Scott Aichner spends his working day shooting photographs for SURFER magazine. He puts in huge amounts of beach and water time. So what does he do when he has a few free days at the end of his Nicaragua shoot? He books on with the Dale Dagger Magical Mystery Surf tour.

Kassidy just came back from the "Badlands of Wyoming"
she usually bitches about the heat and the mosquitos
(sounds like a Jimmy Buffet song huh?)
But yesterday she was all smiles and loving the heat.
I know some of you aren't enjoying the nicest weather today so I'm sending a Tony Roberts photo to remind you of Nicaragua.
This is this morning.
We never get tired of it. The weather is just amazing
and on the political front....
I drove by a "made for TV" protest against the war in Gaza yesterday in the main intersection in Managua.
Didn't even slow down traffic but the visual on TV looked like all hell was breaking loose.
Today I read the Wardens Message from the US Embassy here in Nicaragua.
They warn about Political Protests and disturbances. This only happens in Managua and they are planned and organized.
They happen from one o'clock till four so the protesters can get home in time to see themselves on TV.
If they get designated "danger zone" the Embassy wags get extra money so they are all over this.
But a surf client canceled anyway cause his wife got scared.
You would have 0 chance to see any political activity on the way from the airport to Bahia Gigante.
Sorry for the political content but it just pisses me off to see the fat cats twist and turn our lives to fit their polecat agenda.
I wish they would just go for a walk on the beach instead.
