spot F Miles of beach break. Long walk down & a longer walk back up. A few rocks that appear out of nowhere.
spot R Strong rip outflow by rocks. A-frames jack up bigger than spot W. Peak can shift around a lot.
spot W A-frames on the sand bar, a really fun wave when its clean. This is the first break I ever surfed and I have always considered it my home break.
spot L Miles of beach break. Sometimes a peak in front of the parking lot and another by the rock. This is the big tourist beach if you're looking for summertime crowds.
spot C Beach break. Big, steep and fast. A preferred summer spot
spot N A great winter beach break. This wave is overhead & 250' long. 20 kt offshores and flat inbetween sets.
spot D Inside Passage. Right hand point break is fast and long, close to gravel beach, easy to get out. Strong rip sometimes. Following a big SE blow as soon as wind drops. Good for only a few hours. Tough to wire.
spot X Inside Passage. Reef break. The place is very tough to wire, and really tough to hit on conditions like these. Head high in this photo
spot J Point break with big long, long, call a taxi to get back to the lineup long, rights. Very crowded and the older crew think they own this bit of Crown real estate. Not too agro, but you can get a real unwelcome feeling here.
spot S Steep cobble beach, river mouth & a reef that breaks real steep, fast takeoffs. Very crowded, but a little friendlier than spot J.
