GIRLS DAY OUT SUN PEAKS- CHANGEDTO ALL BIG MOUNTAIN FOCUSED SKI CAMP
Announcing the Sun Peaks will change from a combination camp -Terrain Parkand big mountain, to an exclusively big mountain female ski camp.
Rossland, British Columbia (January 20, 2008) – Organizers of Girls DayOut female ski camps announce that the Girls Day Out at Sun Peaks resort willbe changed from a dual camp of Terrain park and big mountain, to an exclusiveBig Mountain focused camp. Girls Day Out will be held on the weekend ofFebruary 9th and 10th at Sun Peaks Resort near Kamloops B.C.
The event will now culminate with a shopping session/socialhour that showcases 2008 female ski products and featured female artists,jewelers, photographers. Other new event additions will include: a skimechanical workshop, motivational speakers, lunch, sessions with a professionalphotographers, coaching from professional skiers, Rossignol demo ski’s and personalizedphotography session.
Attendees will spend two-action packed days skiing, makingnew friends, being educated and inspired by other female skiers. Communitybuilding and goal setting exercises will be implanted to help all attendeesbecome aware of their personal potential. The 2007 Girls Day Out provided an outlet for participants to sharestories about boyfriends, surviving cancer, powder days and life as a femaleskier.
Registration for events can be done on www.girlsdoski.comand is open to intermediate and expert female skiers ages 13-50. The cost for the Sun Peakssession is $95.00 and also Girls Day Outwill offer event priced lift tickets for teens (13-18) and adult (19-50), andare available upon request.

Rossignol presents Girls Day Out Ski events
Season dates set for Girls Day Out ski tour, events are to be held at 5 different ski resorts around B.C. Girls Day Out is providing female skiers ages 13-50 with inspiration, professional coaching, ski education and accessible role models.
Rossland, B.C. (November 20, 2007) – The official Girls Day Out website will be launched on November 7.2007: www.girlsdoski.com to promote the exclusive all female skiing events, Girls Day Out.
The Girls Day Out tour - with support from Rossignol - will be hosted at 5 different ski resorts this winter season, Fernie Alpine Resort, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, Red Mountain Resort, Sun Peaks Resort and Big White Ski Resort.
Earlier this year, an event was held at Red Mountain Resort bringing together females ages 13-50 for a day of motivation, coaching, female trivia, self awareness, prizes and bonding with other female skiers. The event has expanded into a tour due to the profound success of the inaugural event and the pure enjoyment of the female participants.
The event for the 2007-08 tour will now culminate with a shopping session/social hour that showcases 2008 female ski products and featured female artists, jewelers, photographers. Other new event additions will include: a ski mechanical workshop, motivational speakers, lunch, sessions with a professional photographers, coaching from professional skiers, Rossignol demo ski’s, SBC skier magazine subscription and a personalized take home photograph DVD.
Attendees will spend two-action packed days skiing, making new friends, being educated and inspired by other female skiers. Community building and goal setting exercises will be implanted to help all attendees become aware of their personal potential. The 2007 Girls Day Out provided an outlet for participants to share stories about boyfriends, surviving cancer, powder days and life as a female skier.
The coaching staff at each Girls Day Out event will consist of local female resort representatives and visiting guest coaches. Coaching staff will vary due to the discipline of each event, Big Mountain or Terrain Park. Big mountain specific events will be held on December 29-30th at Fernie alpine Resort, January 12-13th at Red Mountain Resort and January 26-27th at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. A combination camp (Big mountain and Terrain Park) event will be held on February 9-10th at Sun Peaks Resort and an exclusively Terrain Park camp will be held on March 22-23rd at Big White Ski Resort.
Registration for events can be done on www.girlsdoski.com and is open to intermediate and expert female skiers ages 13-50. Prices for this year’s events are as followed (excluding lift tickets): Fernie Alpine resort- $116.50, Red Mountain Resort- $75.00* Special Offer, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort- $90.00, Big White Ski Resort-$95.00 and Sun Peaks Resort- $95.00. Girls Day Out will offer event priced lift tickets for teens (13-18) and adult (19-50), and are available upon request.
