Cedar Skate Park needs your Help
Cedar Skate Park Assoiation has been working hard for the past eight years to build a beautiful and plaza -style Skatepark that blends in well with the surrounding rural landscape; a place the whole communitywill enjoy. This recreation site will be a social venue to burnoffyouthful exuberance in a healthy
way, buildself-esteem and leadership skills, provide opportunities for mentorship and peace of mind for parents, business ownersand will help create a sense of community.
As Cedar grows we have seen no increase in recreation facilities. Cedar, Area"A" needs it's own recreation facilities. Not all youth enjoy organized sports and we need to offer different recreatioal venues.
This will be a park for the community that families, neighbours and visitors will enjoy. Local businesses will benefit from out of area skater and bikers coming to use the park.
Cedar Skatepark Association is after a construction grant through the Aviva Community Fund competition.
