2nd annual Bonsor sk8 contest
June 2nd 2007
June 2/07 at Bonsor Sk8 park in Burnaby
Registration starts at 11am and contest starts @12pm
Categories are BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE, ADVANCED, OLD TIMERS, GIRLS.
$2 to enter and all proceeds go towards leeside.
There is a BBQ as well.
Bonsor Street Comp. hosted by Rose with all proceeds towards the Leeside project. Tyler took the pics as I was hiding in the shade as this was in the middle of the afternoon after my shift at the Dragon Boat Regatta. Rose is wearing the green shirt, Johnny B in the yellow and Micke Papa in the green hat. All other dudes are unknown.

new Burnaby Skatepark Opened October 02, 2004. The park features a street Plaza, roll out a lip flow/Beginner area, our first bowl with custom-made pool coping, and and 18 foot radius full pipe.
The Metro skatepark project utilizes EcoSmart concrete. This new concrete mix greatly reduces greenhouse gas emissions produced when patching concrete, as well as increasing concrete strength. Check out echosmart.ca
The Metro Youth/Skate Park is located in the City of Burnaby in Bonsor Park near Metrotown. The site is located between the Royal Oak and Metrotown skytrain stations and near an existing recreation facility. Space2place was contracted to design this facility with Spectrum Skatepark Creations Ltd as subconsultant.
