Even Okanagan Lake has it's days.
This day was blowing about 50km/hr and was producing a consistent 4'.
Every once and a while it'll blow 80-100km and when it does' this place gets scary.
Huge shorebreak makes timing launch from shore critical.
Once away from shore you can get a steady 7- 8' which wraps around a point and gives a fairly long right hand break.
Usually these storms blow in around January so lake temp is pretty cool and air temp is usually around -5 to +5.
But when it's on it's worth it.
Of course being and Okanagan Inlander we are usually starving for surf and will go out in just about anything.
